“When that time
comes,” says the LORD, “the people of Israel and Judah will return
to the land together. They will come back with tears of repentance
as they seek the LORD their God. They will ask the way to Zion; they
will turn their faces toward it. They will come and bind themselves
to the LORD in a lasting covenant that will never be forgotten.
(Jeremiah 50:4-5)
Whenever you stand
praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that
your Father in heaven will also forgive you your sins. (Mark 11:25)
So then, if you bring
your gift to the altar and there remember that your brother has
something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar.
First go and be reconciled to your brother and then come and present
your gift. (Matthew 5:23-24)
